How long will my portrait take after I've placed an order?
It will all depend on how long my waiting list is and the size / number of pets within a portrait. On average a standard size portrait of one pet takes me a couple of weeks. And I normally have a 4 - 6 week waiting list. However, please bear in mind that the run up to Christmas is a very busy time for me and so you are advised to get your order in early. I can give you an approximate time when I receive your order and obviously if you have a specifice date to meet then I will ensure the portrait is done in time for this.
I want two dogs to appear in the same portrait but I haven't a photograph of them together?
As long as you have two photos of them which are taken in the same lighting and at the same angle, I can use photo editing software to put the photo together. I will then send you out the image to make sure you are happy with the composition and the relative sizes of the two dogs before I start the portrait.
My dog has passed away and the photographs I have are not ideal. Can you still do a portrait?
I'm sorry for your loss and If you let me see your photos I can let you know what I can do. In the majority of cases I can do a lovely portrait by working from various photos. However, you need to bear in mind that the photos are all I have to work from!!
How do I pay for my portrait?
A 25% deposit is required up front as soon as I start a portrait and then the remainder is due on completion. I will send a photo of your finished portrait via E-mail for your approval and then will post it out as soon as your final payment has been received. I can accept credit / debit cards via Paypal, or you may pay by personal cheque.
Do the portraits come framed?
All my portraits come with a double mount and frame to suit the individual picture.
How will my portrait be delivered?
Flat-packed via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day (will require a Signature). I will let you know when I post a portrait so that you know when it will be delivered.
Can you do different sizes from those on your price list?
Yes, just let me know what you want and I'll give you a quote.
What if I don't like my portrait?
Thankfully, this has never happened. I always send the final image via E-mail for a clients approval before sending the orginal portrait. This way, if there are any minor alterations to make I can do them before the portrait is posted. However, if a client really didn't like a portrait I offer a 100% money back guarantee subject to the portrait being returned to me within 14 days.
